When do you like to read God’s word so that God can speak to you? The psalmist said, “I rise before dawn and cry for help; I wait for Your words” Psalm 119:147. David speaks of the morning time which is my favorite time to read the Bible. Then everything is quiet and my mind is fresh. But in the next verse the psalmist also said, “My eyes anticipate the night watches, that I may meditate on Your word” Psalm 119:148. Another beneficial time for me to read God’s word is just before I go to bed. Then His word works on my subconscious during the night. The point is, each of us needs a time when we read God’s word.
